RockFig Safari Lodge has been completely rebuilt and reopened — six brand-new suites rising from the heart of the Timbavati, on the unfenced border of Kruger National Park. Four standard suites with waterhole views, two family suites for those who won’t compromise on togetherness. Every one with its own heated plunge pool, usable in every season.

This is Big Five country, and the Timbavati delivers — dense bush, dry riverbeds, guides who’ve tracked this land their whole lives. Twice-daily game drives, capped at four guests per vehicle, put you closer to the action than almost anywhere else in the Greater Kruger. Come evening, the lodge softens into fireside dinners in the boma, communal tables under the stars, or a private candlelit setting on your own veranda.
